Yes, all our floors are suitable for both underfloor heating and underfloor cooling systems. The thermal resistance of all our collections is 0.098 K/W, except for the Eco Collection, where it is slightly lower at 0.078 K/W. This makes our floors ideal for modern climate systems that provide both heating in winter and cooling in summer.

Royal Protect is our premium protective finish that can be applied to almost all colors in our collection. This advanced finish makes the floor extremely resistant to stains, scratches, and daily wear. A floor with Royal Protect is maintenance-free for years, so you can enjoy a beautiful floor without the need for regular oiling or intensive maintenance. Royal Protect is part of the Royal Collection.

The colors shown in our Roomplanner are an indication and may differ from the actual product. Since colors are displayed digitally, they can vary depending on your screen settings, brightness, and device. Natural wood also has unique color variations per plank. We always recommend viewing physical samples at one of our dealers to get the best impression of the actual color and texture.

Yes, sustainability is at the core of everything we do. All our floors are 100% produced in the Netherlands, in our own factory in Oss. We use responsibly sourced European oak and our production processes are designed to minimize waste. Our Eco Collection is built with an environmentally conscious construction, further reducing our ecological impact.

Solid oak flooring is made from a single piece of oak, while engineered oak flooring consists of a top layer of real oak bonded to multiple layers of plywood or HDF. Real Dutch Floor uses engineered construction because it offers superior dimensional stability, is compatible with underfloor heating and cooling, and is less susceptible to expansion and contraction caused by temperature and humidity changes. The top layer is genuine European oak, so the appearance and feel are identical to solid wood.

Real Dutch Floor offers three laying patterns: Boards (planks) for a clean, contemporary look; Herringbone where planks are laid at 90-degree angles creating a V-shape; and Chevron where planks are cut at an angle to form a continuous zigzag pattern. Our chevron pattern is available in both 45-degree and 60-degree angles. The availability of patterns varies per collection: Classic, Design, and Royal offer all three patterns; Forest and Eco offer boards and herringbone; Nature is available in boards only. All Real Dutch Floor products are 100% manufactured in our own factory in Oss, North Brabant, the Netherlands. From selecting the raw European oak to the final quality inspection, every step of the production process happens under one roof.
