A wood grading describes the appearance of the wood, not its quality. All Real Dutch Floor gradings are manufactured with the same care in our factory in Oss, The Netherlands. The difference lies in the degree to which natural features such as knots, colour variation and grain patterns are visible. Choosing a grading is therefore always a matter of taste and interior style — not of better or worse.
Country is our most rustic grading, offering the most natural character. Large knots, pronounced colour variations and lively grain patterns make every plank unique. This is the grading for those who love a floor with a robust, honest appearance. Country adds character to any interior and is the ideal choice for those who want to fully embrace the natural beauty of oak.

This depends on the style you are aiming for. For a warm, authentic interior with character, Rustiek A/B or Country is ideal. Rustiek A is the perfect all-rounder for modern homes. Prime/Bis suits sleek, minimalist spaces best. Your dealer can help you with samples to see the difference in person.
No, absolutely not. All gradings are manufactured with the same care and precision in our factory in Oss. The difference is in appearance, not quality. Rustiek A/B shows more of the natural character of the oak, while Prime/Bis gives a more uniform appearance. Both are premium products with the same technical specifications and lifespan.
Country is our most rustic grading and goes a step further than Rustiek A/B in natural character. Both gradings have similar specifications for knots and colour variation, but Country represents the most pronounced, robust appearance. Country adds exceptional character to an interior, while Rustiek A/B is slightly calmer but still full of life.
We recommend using the same grading within one space for a harmonious look. However, you can choose a different grading per room — for example Rustiek A/B in the living room for warmth and Prime/Bis in the bedroom for calm. Discuss the possibilities with your dealer.
